ALSpective Expands In Africa
March 29, 2018 – International consulting and search firm ALSpective Group has expanded in Africa with the addition of Helmi Brinis as managing partner and advisor in Tunisia.
“Helmi Brinis has a wealth of experience in advising executives, including financial management and human resources in international groups and SMEs,” said Albert Hiribarrondo, president of the ALSpective Group. “We are proud to welcome him as a partner and advisor within our team, and we look forward to the development of our group, in Tunisia and in Africa.”
Mr. Brinis, who has more than 20 years of experience in major Tunisian and international groups, has focused on searches within financial management and human resources. Since 2011, he led his own consulting firm, which specialized in HR. Mr. Brinis has managed several direct search recruitment mandates and conducted numerous organizational and HR policy consulting assignments, such as strategic consulting assignments, for Tunisian or foreign companies and groups.
“My ambition for the group, is to deploy our know-how on a country, Tunisia, which we know well and a continent, Africa, with many perspectives,” said Mr. Brinis.

In 2009, Tunisia was ranked the most competitive economy in Africa and the 40th in the world by the World Economic Forum. It is an export-oriented country in the process of liberalizing and privatizing an economy that has suffered from corruption benefiting politically connected elites. Tunisia has a diverse economy, ranging from agriculture, mining, manufacturing and petroleum products to tourism.
Executive Search Firms Continue Migration to South Africa
The economy of Africa consists of trade, industry, finance, construction and agriculture. According to recruiters expanding in the region, business is booming, and as a result a number of search firms have continued their migration to the continent.
ALSpective is an international executive search firm offering leadership consulting, governance and strategy. The firm currently has offices in Paris, Geneva and Tunis.
Continued Expansion
ALSpective has experienced growth in recent month. The firm recently expanded with the additions of Juliane Nitsche and Michel Moutier as partners and advisors. The pair’s responsibilities include leadership consulting with a specialization in well-being & performance as well as strategy and board services with a new offering in change management. Ms. Nitsche and Mr. Moutier are the founders of MLC Advisory, a French-German consulting firm that specialized in well-being & leadership, with clients in France and Europe. They decided to join forces with ALSpective to create new perspectives for their clients, they said.

ALSpective also added Debray Sandelin as a partner and advisor. Her appointment reinforced the development of the firm’s leadership consulting business, including the launch of the first ALSpective Executive Assessment Center. With 12 years of experience in career coaching, Ms. Sandelin specializes in distribution and consumer products. She has extensive knowledge of individual and collective coaching as well as performance analysis and group dynamics. She has been career team leader at ESSEC Business School in Cergy, France for the last five years. Before that, she served as a consultant with ESSEC Alumni.
